FEATURED SERIES CORNER
Amulet

The author, Kazu Kibuishi, is bringing the Amulet series to an end due out sometime this year.  The main characters, Emily and Navin, are on a mission and along the way confront a mechanical rabbit, a talking fox, and a giant robot.  The first book will grab you and keep you reading!  Check out Books 1 – 8 at your library as this series comes to a close, and watch for the upcoming movie currently in development.

DID YOU KNOW?

Dr Seuss’s birthday is March 2.  He was born in 1904 so he would be 117 years old! To celebrate his birthday, wear something wacky (clothes that don’t match, are backwards, or inside out).  Do you know what his best selling book is of all time?  It’s Green Eggs and Ham with nearly 200 million copies sold! In his lifetime Dr. Seuss wrote over 60 books.  In celebration of his life, take time to read one of his books this week. Here are some activities you can enjoy.
