Molly Moon

Molly Moon looks like a fun series to read. Molly and her extraordinary talent to hypnotize anyone are SURE to get her in trouble with her friend, Petula the pug.  Molly also possesses powers to become anything she wants, like a ladybug, for instance.  This series contains six books, so be sure to check out which ones are on your library’s shelves.

TLC added 15 new series as of March 1st.  Have you read any of these?

DC Super Pets, EllRay Jakes, Fairyland, Guri and Gura, Kiranmala and the Kingdom Beyond, Land of Stories, Molly Moon, Morris and Boris, Mouse Books, Nikki & Deja, Royal Sweets, Sarai, School for Good and Evil, Wedgie & Gizmo, and Zita and the Spacegirl.  I can’t wait to read DC Super Pets, Molly Moon, and School for Good and Evil.  Which ones will become your favorite?

  • Watch for the Llama Llama Live musical, touring 40 theaters in the US and Canada.  The musical will be at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre on April 4th.
  • A movie has been in the works for a while for one of the newly added series, The School for Good and Evil.  A new book in the series, One True King, comes out June 2, bringing the series to a dramatic conclusion.  Stay tuned here for details about when the movie will hit theaters.
  • Starting in October 2020, the first book in the Animorph series, The Invasion, will come out as a graphic novel.  I am sure the other 53 books will be right behind it.
  • If you were lucky to see Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made on Disney+, you will be delighted to know that a sequel is already in the works.  Rumor has it an old person is going to be one of the new characters introduced. If you’ve read the books, you might be able to figure out WHO that might be.
  • Another newly added series, DC Super Pets, heads to the theaters in May 2022.  Watch for Krypto, Streaky, Ace, Comet, and the rest of the amazing super pets to hit the big screen.

A couple more weeks and we will be out of winter and into spring.  Spring arrives on March 19th.   This winter we did not have much snow; not like years past with the snow piled up higher than the roof of my doghouse!  I like the snow, making dog angels and building snow dogs, but I don’t like the cold.  My doghouse does not have any heat and it can get pretty chilly, so I am looking forward to warmer days and warmer nights. Happy Spring!
